Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
1. Introduction
Ottimo, Inc. ("Ottimo," "we," "our," or "us") operates the ottimo.dev platform and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.
By using Ottimo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information.
Usage data. We collect information about how you use the platform — pages visited, features used, actions taken, and timestamps. This data helps us improve the product and diagnose issues.
Content you create. This includes websites, pages, templates, forms, leads, contacts, and any other data you store in Ottimo.
Technical data. IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and cookies used to operate and secure the service.
Communications. If you contact us for support, we retain records of those communications to assist you and improve our service.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and operate the Ottimo platform; process payments and manage your subscription; send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts, password resets); improve and develop new features; analyze usage trends and performance; and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4. Data Sharing
Service providers. We share data with trusted vendors who help us operate the platform — including cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel), payment processing (Stripe), and email delivery (Resend). These vendors process data only on our behalf.
Legal requirements. We may disclose your information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Ottimo and its users.
Business transfers. If Ottimo is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
No sale or sharing of mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected by Ottimo will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are shared only with the vendors that deliver messages on our behalf (such as Twilio), and only for that purpose.
5. SMS / Text Messaging
Consent. By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, replying to a text, or verbally agreeing during a call, you consent to receive text messages from Ottimo and from the business you contacted through Ottimo. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Types of messages. Messages may include appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to your inquiries, account and security notifications, customer care, and, where you have separately opted in, promotional offers.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies by your activity and the business you are working with. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP we will send one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed and you will receive no further texts from that number. To rejoin, sign up again or reply START.
Help. Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at privacy@ottimo.dev.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we delete your data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@ottimo.dev.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ottimo.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform, remember your preferences, and analyze usage. See our Cookie Policy for details on what we use and how to manage your preferences.
10. Children's Privacy
Ottimo is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice in the platform. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
